Seventy members from the very first team in 1974 to current team coaches turned out for our first ever reunion. Organized jointly by team founder Carol Montez-Bressan, Linda Duarte, and Enio Cordoba, the party was held in the beautiful Dove Canyon Country Club in Trabuco Hills. From the opening cocktail party thru diner, dancing, and the show, there was not enough time for everyone to reconnect with all their former mates. Even as it ended many gathered to exchange phone numbers and promises to call.
At the event, we announced that this year in 2024, we will be holding the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the team. (Dates to be announced soon). We hope to collect pictures from more attendees and will post them as soon as possible. Below are video clips of the show and the hilarious mixer we surprised everyone with.
A special thanks to Chuck Stanislawski and his wife Lisa who created and donated the picture placemats that were the hit of the party. Each team year had laminated placemats with assorted pictures from their years. Everyone was like kids sharing baseball cards, oohing and aahing as they remembered old friends. The only downer to the evening was the pasting of the football team by hated rival Notre Dame which was playing in the bar during the cocktail hour.
